Curious which vehicle you can open fastest without a mark. I clocked 2:03 on a mid-size sedan at 3 a.m. — straight pick-and-turn, zero pry — and I’m wondering what records you’re seeing in the field.
3 a.m. — straight pick-and-turn, zero pry — and I’m with you on the late-hour advantage; my best was about 1:10 on an older fleet sedan when everything lined up, but anything post-2018 with deadlocks turns it into a five-minute slog. Ugh, the real killer for “records” is owner verification and getting the dash-cam angle right, which I won’t skip even if it costs time.
Same here — curious if others are actually seeing dates or just memos.
Fastest for me was about 55 seconds on a base-model hatchback, @OP — having ID/consent squared away and a calm owner saves more time than anything, and I swear the coffee does half the unlocking. Newer models with tighter tolerances still make me earn it regardless.
