Tips for Effective Lock Picking Practice

I often get questions from apprentices about the best ways to develop their lock picking skills. One method I’ve found helpful is practicing with clear locks, as they allow you to see the pins move as you work. It’s a great way to build confidence and understand the mechanics better. What techniques have you found effective in your training?

Clear locks are great; i also like using practice locks with varying tension levels. Have you tried those for a different challenge?
